I might be buying this pc soon, its got an:
i7-2700K
GTX 980 4GB
16GB RAM
250GB SSD
1TB HDD
Is the cpu too old for this build? I'm not looking to upgrade any time soon. Thanks in advance.

Solution
If you overclock the processor it's still fine for gaming.
My son runs my old 2500K overvlocked to 4.8 and has no problems running any game. Still a good gaming processor and in most games the GTX 980 is fine for it.
The price needs to be good on it to be a good buy and how much longer the performance will be good nobody knows.

It's a older CPU but still capable especially once overclocked. If you don't mind me asking how much are they charging for the system?
