■ Hi all I need to get a new laptop for work and it has to have TPM. I've been looking around and found a HP probook 450 g3/8gb/500hdd(anyone have experience with this model?) that comes with this processor for about $1000, which is just about the extent of my budget as I already have a gaming laptop.
So basically what I'll be using it for is having multiple browser windows open with at least 10 tabs each, loading different images on those tabs (lists and lists of images), having notepad open, excel open, and maybe a couple other office related activities going on. I'll be constantly adding new tabs and scrolling past blocks of text and images.
Is this a decent processor for this type of use?
Also I'm planning on adding SSD to the laptop - how much memory would you recommend and am I supposed to keep the hard drive in or just replace it with the SSD altogether? I won't be using the laptop for anything else other than work so nothing will be installed on it except office software and the music I've downloaded.
Any help would be appreciated.
