Yes, for hybrid gaming - photo editing. For gaming only, 6600K is better for your money.

I agree. The 6600K is probably a better value, but the 6700K offers supreme performance (for a hefty price premium).

If you plan to multitask like recording, streaming and gaming all at once, then you'll likely enjoy the extra performance offered by the 6700K. I love mine.

For me, getting a stable OC took forever on the 6700K, but that's probably because I'm used to overclocking AMD CPUs. I imagine that the process would go smoother for someone who's used to OC'ing Intel CPUs.

My friend had the same issue when switching from AMD to intel, it took him forever to get a stable OC, whereas I've always had intel and I think there pretty easy to get stable

I think it's because the adjustments you need to make to AMD are so large, and you really have to take it one setting at a time with Intel.

Yeah, Intel CPU's are very sensitive to what volts they run on and how much you can actually push the core clocks plus it seems that there is more of a risk of not winning the silicon lottery with Intel compared to AMD who seem to always overclock easy
