Is the Intel® Core i3 4000M CPU good enough to support the Nvidia GeForce GT 840M GPU?

I am going to buy a laptop that has a Nvidia GeForce GT 840M and an Intel® Core i3 4000M. The thing is that from what i read a notebook with a Nvidia GeForce GT 840M should have a modest processor (Intel Core i5 Mobile). I don't want necessarily to use it as a gaming laptop, but i might play a few games with it. So, is the CPU gonna slow down the laptop or not? I just want to be sure about this.

No I think the i3 4000M is well capable of running the GT 840M. It's a good combination.
