Is the Intel Core i7 4930K compatible with Gigabyte Z97X-SLI?

Hi, I Have a Gigabyte Z97X-SLI and i was wondering weather or not the Intel Core i7 4930K 6 core processor will be compatible with my motherboard?

No, you need a socket 2011 motherboard with that cpu.

Intel I7-4930k requires socket LGA 2011.
In conclusion the Gigabyte Z97X-SLI is not compatible with the I7-4930k processor.
