Is the intel i7-6850K compatible with the asus X99-A II, what do I do in the case that I need bios, this is my first gaming pc

Thank you

Solution
Yes, they are compatible, and you shouldn't need to change anything or update the UEFI BIOS, since the Asus X99-A II was released specifically for the broadwell-e generation of CPUs (seen here: http://techreport.com/news/30104/asus-reveals-four-new-x99-boards-for-broadwell-e-cpus).

It should be compatible with your CPU, but best to check BIOS updates, there have been 5 since the original release for a variety of thing, most predominate will be DRAM updates for the newer stick releases, but lot of other odds and ends. Also check for latest drivers, those on the disk with the mobo will probably already be out of date ;)
