Question Is the lastest bios update for the MSI PRO B650M-A WIFI safe to download?

I want to flash the BIOS for my motherboard before I turn on my PC, but is it safe to download this update? It says it fixes expo functions, but it is a beta so I'm unsure if I should download or not.

Unless fixing a problem specific to your needs, I would not install a beta release. Just wait for the full release version.

If running an X3d processor absolutely download and install it immediately since the EXPO problems it's probably fixing can lead to permanent damage to your CPU. It's optional if not since it's BETA, but even if you choose to and it doesn't work well it can always be rolled back to the previous version.

Otherwise, since it sounds like this is a new build definitely update to the latest non-BETA version if the board isn't already on it. In which case you may need to boot to BIOS first to find out what version it's on which is perfectly safe.
