is the MSI GT70 2OC-408US a good buy?

The specs are really great for the price but I don't want to sacrifice quality. I currently own an asus and a tosihba and they're both over three years old and functioning but rather outdated. Any one have any experience with them in the past? And i read that it comes with a single fan rather than dual fans which also makes me kinda hesitant.

I was considering this laptop, but realized that t was overkill for my needs and I need a portable laptop. From the things that i have read though, it cools really well and stays quite too. have you heard anything about their build quality? i do a lost of music production & occasional gaming and i want something that can last me about 3 years without hinges and keys popping out. I've had pretty good experience with asus & toshiba (though too much plastic) & really really bad experience with acer and gateway.
