This software came with my MSi gaming 7 MOBO, but I usually just close out of it because I'm not sure if it helps or not. I really don't even know what it's suppose to do lol. Is it worth having?

It is a feature for stupid people and it causes all kinds of strange issue for some. What it tries to do is make people think it will fix delays related to prioritization of traffic. What it fails to clear state is that it can have no effect on traffic from any other device. So if you have a second PC overloading your internet connection it can not fix it.

What it can do is make certain traffic on the machine itself run better. So if you are running torrent and playing games it can give the game traffic priority. This is why it is a feature for stupid people. Instead of just not running software that impacts my game I will load even more software to try to fix it.

If you search you will fix a massive number of post...
You don't need to install the software if you don't want to. It'll just increase your startup time and number of processes running in the background. It's software is designed for gamers and is supposed to reduce lag for online games. The only problem is no review to date could find a difference between that and a regular gigabit controller. That's the reason Killer had to start selling their Ethernet controllers to motherboard manufacturers. Only Apple can sell products with no tangible benefits because of brand name.

If you search you will fix a massive number of post discussing how to remove the killer drivers because of the problems they cause. You can also now get drivers without this feature from the killer/qualcomm site.

The last motherboard I bought having a intel ethernet was a key feature.
