Is the MSI-Z77A-G43 Compatible with the GTX 1080/70?

Hi guys, I was wondering if the MSI-Z77A-G43 is compatible with the GTX 1080/70, the new gen cards state they are DirectX12 but my motherboard says it supports DirectX11

Your board will be fine with either card. Motherboards are not DX specific. That one came out before the DX12 protocol was finalized. The ad literature just wasn't updated.
