Is the Nvidia Quadro FX3800 still good?

Hi Tom's Hardware Community!

I've been looking for a fast laptop that I can edit photos/videos on. I saw this laptop on Craigslist that has a Nvidia Quadro FX3800 1GB GPU inside, and I was wondering how old this GPU is and is alright for my purposes? (I am editing Full HD video and editing RAW files). Thanks so much!

Nope, not very powerful.
CPU power will get you further, if you'd like I can point out a laptop provided with a price range, but that's not for me to say without your permission. Look for something along the lines of an Intel mobile i7 HQ processor.

Since it based on the GT 250 from 2008 it is basically only good for browsing the web these days. Your CPU is going to be faster for editing.
