Is the Nvidia Shield Portable Worth it Right Now?

I've been looking at buying the Nvidia Shield Portable pretty much ever since it went out of stock on Nvidia's website and the price on amazon skyrocketed to $500 for a new one. I've been looking at used ones now and I've found one for $130 and I'm wondering if its worth it at this point. I've heard multiple roomers that Nvidia is working on updating the portable but at this point I don't know. I've personally never used one before but I've heard great reviews on it so I'm wondering if its worth the plunge for around $130-$200 right now.
