Is the NZXT Hue worth it?

I want to add more lights to my case and i am going with an orange/black look to match my case. I have 2 orange led fans and i wanted an led strip on the inside. There arent many orange cold cathodes and leds and a lot of reviews say the nzxt hue is bright and works good. I wanted to know if its bright enough so i can see inside my case at night and if it would be a wise purchase. My case is the Cougar Challenger Orange case with a fair sized side panel window. Thank you

I actually planned on buying the NZXT hue system from Newegg when it was still for sale on the website. I liked the choice of having so many colors at the tips of my fingers.

But since they stopped carrying them, I just went with the good ol' Red sleeved LED kit from NZXT. It installs into a PCI-E slot on you pc case, just remove a suitable slot and fill it with the NZXT controller and screw it down.

NZXT LED's are great, the variable setting and power switch is very nice for low profile lighting. The only thing is they don't have any single Orange LED strip. If you just want orange, I would recommend BitFenix alchemy LED strips

They're incredibly bright and the lights last pretty long.

But NZXT hue is a great choice in lighting. The RGB offers such a wide range of colors, you can carry it from case to future cases.

So the strip wont be in the front bay drive itll be hidden in on the back right
