[SOLVED] Is the operation of a mouse really worse between 800 and 1600 DPI or this is not true?

Hello guys!

This is a strange question, but once I read somewhere, that the best DPI to use for a mouse is in steps of 400 or 800 (I can't remember exactly...). And also that's why most of the mouse softwares has DPI values like 400, 800, 1600, 3200 by default because these are the best values for the mouse... So thats why I'm asking this question, I want to know the truth about this.

So is this true, or can I use my DPI even for example 1095 if I want?

Set it to what you want and see how you like it. There is no single best DPI to use. If you find that your setting jumps around too much or is not smooth, change it.
