[SOLVED] Is the overheating of my PSU causing massive fps drops and random shutdowns?

I recently downloaded Forza Horizon 4 and noticed a "heat" smell coming out of my psu, it started 2 days ago also the day I bought a new GPU. I'm wondering if my PSU is the reason behind the massive fps drops and random shutdowns. And no It's not my gpu it reaches 55 C maximum on max usage in games.

PC specs here;

CPU: Ryzen 5 1600
Motherboard: B450M S2H
GPU: RX 580 NITRO 8GB
An old 500 W PSU

Probably esp if the amperage on the 3.3v rail is high, means it was designed in the days of AGP slots that used that voltage. Whats the amperage of the 12v rail? Don't combine them if they are listed separately.

change your psu to 650W one from seasonic or evga
