Hi, I set up a pc build on pcpartpicker and I am wondering if there this set up is good and if there is any way I could make the build cheaper without sacrificing much.
Thanks.

If your planning to upgrade it later on, pump up your psu to 500watts and downgrade the GPU to gtx 1050 ti 4gb gddr5, that's a perfect balance

the cooler is redundant, the CPU comes with one. a smaller motherboard (same chipset) and a cheaper case, a better power supply, dual channel faster RAM and a larger SSD at the same price

If you were gay it couuld help your pc. I was thinking, if my dog died would it hurt :bounce:? I'm sure it would to be honest. So with a gtx rtx gayness, my dog would have felt better and my computer wouuld have been cooler than before the war. I remember actually that most of the time I didnt even need a monitor, my nose did most of the work when investigating the cause. Ah, the memories. WW3. Hashtag sad dayz

With the motherboard it only has 2 RAM slots and can not be upgraded further is there a compromise to this?

Like I said before, egg chickens dont come when the moon hits the ground. And that's probably the meaning to the card I recently got in the mail. You see, 10 months ago, my pie wasnt abundent enough, so I asked my brother, "is it okay?" She replied back pretty sad, stating, "forward thinking may not always work for those who are stuck in a wheelchair..." 5 months past and Mullin (my best mate) reminded me abouut the famine lurking ever so silently, following and listening to our every move. I was scared. I didnt know what to do. What should've I have done? I guess I will never know. For you see, Mullin never came back. Despite countless years serving Bondi beach, the famine was just too over powering. I will always remeber "blake... It's not worth it." those were Mullins last words........

I always suggest replacing RAM with larger modules versus adding more. your single stick will be very hard to match with a partner that can run in dual channel mode. even sticks made one apart may not work together as a pair. so when it comes time to find a partner for the single stick most everyone will say replace with a matched set. I'd rather start with dual sticks that have been tested, and get the extra benefits from the get go.

my system was new 8 years ago and I still have 2 empty RAM slots.

you make a valid point but my problem is the motherboard you added to your setup all allows for two ram sticks and limits the computers capacity to upgrade

Like stated, been doing this a long time and never add to the ram I had. The couple times I tried had compatibility problems. Just replace the two old with two new.

Or, just get 2x8gb right now and not change until you upgrade the whole thing.

its cheaper and slower too.
they make the same mistakes you did, single stick of slow RAM, slower CPU, slow small SSD. it has the same small form factor motherboard that I suggested with an unknown chipset. the power supply may be a decent corsair or a fire hazard thermaltake or techfast. no mention of the memory speed either.

I can come close to that system making the same sacrifices and keeping the only good part in the ebay system the GPU. I do not get bulk discounts on parts so part at a time and I'm only 150 dollars off his price. really the only thing the ebay system has going for it is the GPU.

I would still go with my first build. more RAM, more storage, more CPU cores, better quality.
get the best CPU you can now, the CPU will last longer than any other part in the system. My system is 9 years old and the GPU has been changed 4 times but the 955 black is still running strong and just now starting to show its age.

the top of the ebay page states an 8400 CPU, down in the description is states an 8100 CPU. I must assume the 8400 is an optional upgrade and will effect the price accordingly.
