is the pentium g4400 and the gt 1030 a good pair? will it have bottlenecks or other issues?

True that, but it kinda depends on how big upgrade it is from your old gpu. If your cpu is way too weak you wont get the fully potential out of the gpu. Like having 60 fps when you could have 100 fps with a better cpu. But it wont hurt if you bottleneck it, you can always upgrade your cpu later when you can afford it.

If the monitor chosen is 60hz there is no need for a bump to 100 FPS from 60 FPS.
