Hi! I'm really curious about my computer's settings. If I were to set the performance slider to "Best Energy Savings" then set the additional power option setting to "High Performance", will my computer use both settings or prioritize the "Additional Power options" settings?

Solution
Those two sets of options work independently of each other.

The Performance Options allow you to enable or disable the various visual effects, this determines how Windows will look and perform, since more visual effects, whilst nice to look at, means more RAM is used.

The Power Options on the other hand apply to the hardware settings.
