Is the price difference worth it?

Hello,
I'm embarking on the journey that is creating my own rig, but today is a question of memory.
So far the only thing in my build that I know for sure I'm getting is the processor.
Intel Core i5-4690K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor is what I'll be using.
I do plan on experimenting with/learning overclocking on this rig.

Now to my question:
This RAM is on sale right now for $74.99

This RAM is going for 54.99
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231468

The only differences to my untrained eye are the color, CAS and the voltage.

I'll be using my new rig for gaming. FPS primarily, I would also like to start streaming/recording.
I also to video editing once in a while. But so rarely it's honestly barely worth mentioning.
I do have a tendancy to have like 3 different browser windows open with multiple tabs in each.

So I am asking is there any reason to get the $75 RAM over the $55?
Also is a CAS of 9 really all that much faster than 11?
Reasons for your decision/suggestion? (Not required, but I do like to learn a little.)
Thanks.

RAM speed makes a very small difference to overall performance - not so much that you ever will notice it except when benchmarking or the last 2-3 FPS in games. Not having enough RAM will often have much more noticeable effects, so having at least 8GB of RAM is usually a good idea.

If you plan on doing some video editing outside of streaming I would suggest getting a 16gig kit, the amount of ram will matter quite a bit for streaming some games, my friend plays fps titles and started streaming with only 8 gigs, his computer got really sluggish after he started streaming and only had one tab open. So spend a bit more on a 16 gig kit. http://pcpartpicker.com/part/gskill-memory-f31600c9d16gsr @ $121 I would buy a 16 gig kit now before you start streaming with something like obs or even doing video editing if you decide to go there, and find your machine slowing down and the ram maxed.

Well if you plan on video recording and steaming etc. then get 16 gigs. However, if you just need a good set, get 8 gigs. The colors do not matter whatsoever.

If looking for better performance the CL9 is the better set, it's not going to be a ton of difference and if primarily gaming, prob not noticeable at all, faster higher performance DRAM show more when multi-tasking and using the DRAM heavily
