Is the problem my CPU?

So my computer made a slight pop sound and my monitor no longer picked up a signal and the music stopped, so I know it went down. Looked at my rig and it appeared to still be running (lights, sound) so I restarted it and it would not boot (No visual, no audio) but was clearly on.

I replaced the gpu and mobo with ones I knew worked and nothing. Could my problem be with the CPU, psu, or the ssd.

Thank you in advance

Its definitely possible. I had a fault PSU and the PC would power on but not get past the Windows loading screen until I replaced the PSU. The easiest way to pinpoint what is causing the problem is to ask a friend or family member if you can borrow their PSU.

What GPUs are you using? A "pop" a lot of times means a transistor in the PSU. If the GPUs you're using are powered and it's one of those rails that went out, then that would cause screen to go out. As for music stopping, a killed GPU signal would throw a blue screen (that you couldn't see). If you're running a unpowered GPU and not getting a signal then see if you can use on board video from the MB and get one.

As for fans spinning, it's hard to tell if them spinning means the computer is actually on, or if they're getting power just from the PSU and that's why they're running. I've had computers that will run all fans even if the CPU was taken out, and other MBs (newer ones) that wouldn't. Same goes for fans even on a powered GPU, they'll run even if the GPU power isn't plugged in, happened on my 550ti.

If you can get a screen using on board graphics (and this is if your CPU/MB has on board) and you've replaced your GPU, then sounds like a PSU issue.

Problem being that I live in bfe and I'm the only one that I know that doesn't use solely console or some integrated from 2002. To be sure would it be unlikely that it's the CPU? I looked at it when I hooked up the new mobo and there was no visible damage.
