Question is the problem my display,pc,or hdmi

When I am playing a game on my PC, specifically gta i cant go in full screen. When I do go in full screen my TV turns back and disconnects mt HDMI until I go out of full-screen I don't know if this is a PC problem monitor problem or HDMI problem. I am not using a monitor I am using a 55 inch Panasonic TV so this may be the problem but I don't know how to fix it.

Update your post to include full system hardware specs and OS information.

Include PSU: make, model, wattage, age, condition.

Are there any problems using other monitors or TVs? Any available to test on?

CPU:i3 3240
PSU:300W
GPU:Intel hd 2500 graphics
CONDITION: Its a bit dusty but it works fine
i do have a monitor i can test it on but im not sure if the monitor is working
i dont know if this realavent or not but i use a vga to hdmi adapter
i use windows 10
