Is the r9 390x a good card?

and yes there is some problem about the power. but if you ask me. it doesn't matter if it 150w or 170w.

the 4gb is 200 buk and some of the 4gb can be flash to 8gb by software. "SOME".

The card I revived didn't work and now I hate xfx due to there customer support I would suggest buying a different brand.

Yeah, it's an okay card, hot with high power consumption. The RX480 is a slower card, but if you had waited a few more days you could have gotten a faster, more efficient GTX 1060 for under $300.

If compared, R9 390X's performance is somewhere between the 1060 and 1070. (meaning that it performs better than 1060 but not 1070)
If you consider 35 FPS being "playable" then you can even do 4K gaming with that card.

The GTX 1060 is supposed to be "faster than a GTX 980", which means faster than a 390x. Only a few more days to find out for sure.
