is the Razer Taipan good?

Hi, I was wondering if the Razer Taipan is good for holding the mouse with my fingertips. And is it worth the price or is there a cheaper, better mouse that is the same size for the same price?

You can always consider the Razer Deathadder. It is comparable in price and is just as good, if not better.
