Hi,

Above are my specs. I wished to upgrade my GPU to the following in Australia:

PNY GeForce RTX 4070 Ti XLR8 Gaming Verto EPIC-X RGB TF OC 12GB Video Card

I wanted to know if it would be too powerful for my CPU to keep up when playing on 1440p? I am interested in playing newer games that are more visually intense.
I also wanted to know if the compatibility between my system and the 4070ti card checks out, I read that my power supply should be sufficient provided I do not do crazy overclocking.
Any help is appreciated.
Thank you.

You'll have to upgrade your psu as a 750 watt is recommended for the 4070ti.

At 1440p you will be fine with your current cpu. You could upgrade your cpu at some point to achieve higher frame rates.

I went from a 2070S to the 4070ti at 1440p and it's great gpu but you may also want to look at the AMD 7900xt. It is now selling at or even below $800. Worth investigating. They both have pros and cons.

The ATX 3.0 750W is $199AUD at my local store link below:

And this 750W Gold is $119 link below.

I think I will go for the

Gigabyte GP-UD750GM 750W 80+ Gold

and pair it with Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4070 Ti EAGLE OC 12GB link below:

Can someone please check if these two components are compatible with my whole system?
