is the rx 480 sapphire good

Good if it Sapphire Nitro+, bad if it is just Saphire RX480 - basic reference RX480.

It's the same card, and yes it's pretty much the best Sapphire 480 on the market. Even a reference card would give you the performance you want, and there's not a lot of difference between any version, but that card is factory overclocked and has excellent cooling.
