Hi All,

Looking to build a new PC for gaming as my current system is starting to show it's age. Current running a i5-4440, 16gb DDR3, SSD and GTX 1660 Super. Would be looking to keep my current GPU.

Trying to get my head around the difference between the 2600X and 2600, is the 2600X worth the extra £15? Is it just a higher clock speed? I.e. can I just over clock the 2600 to the same clock speed?

CPU budget is around £100-£140. Will be buying 2x8gb DDR4 and new motherboard, any suggestions would be appreciated.

Any advice is appreciated, thank you :)

If you are up to it, 2600 can be OC.ed to X performance. For P&P 2600x is worth it.
