Hi,

I was going to purchase the ryzen 2700x but opted to get the 2700 instead as it was £55/$80 odd cheaper, and I thought from my current processor & ram which is an I7-6560U + 8GB RAM to now hopefully the Ryzen 2700 + 16gb RAM, it will be a lot quicker regardless.

However do you guys think the 2700 stock cooler would be okay to use?, I probably won't be looking to OC at all, and will only be doing moderate music production and light to moderate video editing on after effects then rendering in adobe media encoder.

Thanks,
Jag

As long as you don't OC, the stock AMD Wraith Prism cooler is more than enough. I wish Intel put a stock cooler that good with their CPUs.

haha i know, intel is just too expensive tbh plus knowing you have to then spend another $80-$100 on average for a decent cpu cooler too, but I guess for gaming intel will win for now

I appreciate your response though man, thanks!
