Question Is the ryzen offset on x models still a thing?

I have a Ryzen 7 1700x cooled by a Kraken x52, temps on idle are 35-40c, 75c under load. Are these accurate or should I subtract 20?

What are you using to monitor thermals? Ryzen master? Core Temp? HWinfo? If you are using any of those three utilities then the offset is already figured in. For other utilities, who knows. I wouldn't use anything other than those three anyhow.

In any case, if that 75°C is ACTUALLY while under a FULL load, meaning 100% all cores, steady state, no fluctuations, (Prime95 Small FFT with AVX/AVX2 disabled) then you are compliant anyhow.
