Is the Samsung Galaxy Core Prime MicroSDXC Compatible?

Been looking around for a while, but I can't find a straight answer to this question. I recently purchased two G.SKILL 64GB MicroSDXC card for myself and my dad's phone, both the exact same model (Samsung Galaxy Core Prime)

The metroPCS website, which is our network provider, claims that the Core Prime has up to 128GB MicroSD card support. As far as I'm aware, the only MicroSD cards capable of such large storage are MicroSDXC. However, when I check the website, as well as manufacturer information, it just says MicroSD card support.

I'm sure that they are compatible, however, for my peace of mind can anyone give me a definitive answer?

According to a YouTube video I just saw...the regular SD card stores up to 2GBs of data. The SDHC stores 4GBs to 32GBs of data. And the SDXC stores 32GBs to up to 2TBs. So, it refers to the storage capacity of the memory card. So, when the Core Prime states up to 128GBs, you are fine with the SDXC MicroSD card up to 128GBs of capacity.

I don't think there is a big difference. As long as it's a MicroSD card, it will work.
Actually SDXC stands for "Xtended Capacity"
So, as long as the phone supports memories that big, don't worry and just try it out.
