I need an SSD for my laptop cause I play some games on it and do multimedia and work on it and it gets really slow. It has an i3 7th gen CPU which is the cause of my problems, a 940mx GPU and I upgraded it to 8gb of ddr4 ram. It gets really slow and freezes up constantly so I've been meaning to add an SSD. Would this one be good? It is on sale for 66 pounds.

If not their 240gb ssd is also on sale which I might get instead. I could live with a 240gb drive though I'd prefer more storage. My laptop can only have one 2.5 inch drive.

Many thanks in advance!

Sandisk SSD Plus series is on the lower tiers of SSD in terms of performance. Reliability-wise, it comes with a pretty standard 3 year warranty.
Even though it's performance is relatively slow for an SSD, compared to the hard drive you currently have, it will still be a day-and-night difference.

I will keep an eye on sales. Haven't gotten anything yet but I know from experience that WD Blue are a reliable drive since I prefer them to Seagate and wouldn't mind using one of their SSDs. Thanks!
