It's a low budget model, not made by Seasonic, that lacks in certain safety features and overall quality, but it can do the job. There are far better choices available but you'll have to spend a bit more.

So what are the better choices?Looking for $100 or below if possible
No problem. with your system specs a good quality 550 watt model will do nicely. If you anticipate an upgrade in the next few years that will require more power you may want to provision for that now by getting 650-750 watt unit.

I don't know your location so I will use USA prices. This is the best deal that I found right now on a very good power supply: $82.00 with free shipping.

Here's a few other great models to give some choice-

All models I mentioned are available in 550,650,750 and 850 watts. At the time of this reply all those models are currently in-stock.

One more thing, planning to get a ups for power outages and this(well most)psu's have 80+whatever on it and read that those need pure sinewave. So do i need a pure sinewave or not?
Sorry but I'm really not qualified to answer that for you. I have the luxury of living in a modern city with underground power and there's almost never a problem here so I never learned much about UPS. From what I've read, a power supply with APFC (active power factor correction), which pretty much any new PSU has, should be used with a pure sinewave UPS, so I believe you're correct but you should wait for an answer from someone better qualified than me. There's an article here at Tom's all about UPS if you want to give it a read:
