Is the site ok to buy game keys from?

Maybe, but people have had alot of complaints from what I've heard.

I have bought a few games from G2a, and I haven't had any issues yet. I always look at the reviews for the person I am buying from, and usually I will see a pattern with certain games. Like for example 10 bad reviews of batman arkham knight keys not working. Also, I am not sure how it works exactly but the gaming shield thingy for like 3 dollars guarantees the purchase, which I take to mean that you will either get your key for the game or a full refund. I could be wrong though.

Im not sure what there is to complain about tbh. Ive spent hundreds across dozens of purchases on G2A and i have never had a single issue i couldnt resolve within 15 mins.

You pay a couple bucks a month and then you don't need to pay for insurance every time you buy. This is great for frequent buyers like me because instead of paying 2 bucks lets say, 3 times. I pay it once a month and save 4-5 bucks. Also, i believe can get support without an order number.

If you're going to be buying keys i recommend using this site to compare prices. It checks dozens of prices and shows you which is the best buy. G2A is often far behind.

You just need to understand that not all of the keys bought and sold at these grey market shops are legitimate. Some may be accepted and allow you to play for weeks, months or even years. Some may be disallowed from the get go. Worse yet, some may be initially allowed and then black listed by the developer; at which time you have no recourse.

Oh and that "buyer protection" is a joke. These sites know full and well that some of the keys are not legitimate. They're making a profit from allowing it so many people will pay for their own protection.

But yes, they are definitely taking advantage with buyer protection. No debate there.

My son's friend had 3 game keys and 2 Windows 10 Pro keys ordered on G2A that weren't legit , he received refund for Game Keys , but not Windows 10 Pro Keys which were blacklisted after 6 months. It's buyer beware type of purchase.

The sites can be shady im not denying that. Im just saying ive had good experiences. I don't mind paying. i know they are taking advantage but that couple bucks a month compared to the dozens of dollars im saving is alright with me. 😀

Your linked image/conversation had nothing to do with a bad key.

I'm not denying that there is some legitimate business being conducted at sites like Kinguin and G2A. My problem is with the people who do try to sell these illegitimate keys and the sites that allow them to and offer some amount of "protection" at a cost. Heck! If I was in the fraud protection business, I'd be stealing and selling keys left and right!

I don't know. It's probably just me, but when I grew up there was a simple premise. If you can't afford it, you don't get it. When the cost of a soda went from 25¢ to 50¢, my soda consumption dropped by half. If someone came up to me and said they could still get me that can of Coca-Cola for 25¢. I'd have been skeptical.
