upgrading from a gtx 1070 to a gtx 1080ti, im selling my 1070 for 195 USD and im buying a 1080ti 420 USD.
is the upgrade worth it?

So almost double the silicon, memory speed increase, memory capacity. At the expense of additional power draw.

If your PSU is up to the task, and you want for FPS, and your CPU isn't holding back the game engine you are running. Should be a decent performance increase, for somewhat minimal cost.

The upgrade would net you a good 40% increase in performance. A second option would be a Radeon 5700XT at $370 that will net about the same increase in performance.

the 5700XT is worth alot more than the 1080Ti in my country

Power supply is fine then. Screen resolution and the game(s) in question would be next.

If you have a 1080p 60hz monitor, then no, probably not worth it. If you are running 1440p or 4K, absolutely. Even 1080p 144hz+ would benefit in many game titles.

yeah im on 1080p 144hz, the 1070 can't get 144fps in some games
