So my place has random power cut of not more than 5 seconds at least 4 times a day.
It's kind of annoying when the computer shuts down b/w my online gaming sessions and when doing something important and i forgot to save the progress.
I have a UPS from my previous build. Its an Intex Protector 600VA - https://www.amazon.in/Intex-600Va-U...tex+ups+600va&qid=1566697985&s=gateway&sr=8-2

I am not planning to run the pc on that but just want it to back up the rig for those 5 to 10 seconds.
Can i hook it up with the computer?

Ideally you should be looking at a 1KVA UPS. How old is the current UPS you've linked? If you can replace the battery since it's probably been sitting idle for a while, I think you can get the UPS up and running and provide enough backup for you to save and power down your system.

Mind you, you will need to keep in mind that an online gaming sessions, you can't just abandon a session which is where the point about you being on a 1KVA UPS comes into play. You will need something higher if your gameplay sessions are longer than 15 mins(during a power outage and the power hasn't been restored).
