My computer case is a BitFenix Shinobi XL from Origin. It has USB slots on the top of the case, and I am wondering, when I upgrade to a new motherboard to accommodate an Intel Skylake processor, will the motherboard still connect to those slots, or are they part of a special motherboard?
I was recently reading this article: http://www.tomshardware.com/news/asrock-z170-motherboards,29763.html
And it says, “USB 3.1 Front Panel Included” Some say yes and some say no, so I am wondering if the usb panel and audio plugs etc on the top of my computer are the “usb front panel”, or if you can just hook up connections from any motherboard to those? (My current motherboard is an ASUS M5A99X (SATA 6Gb/s, USB 3.0))
