Is the VG248QE a good monitor?

I want to buy a new monitor and I've been looking at the VG248QE for a while. I read reviews that the 144hz refresh rate is awesome but that the colors on the monitor are very bad. I don't know if I should buy it or not. So are the colors really that bad? Is it worth it?

I have the 27" version of this monitor. The colors are not as vibrant as an older Samsung that I had, somewhat duller/white or lightwashed. Great monitor though. Definately notice the difference in gaming and watching sports online.
