Question Is the VS 650 enough for an RTX 3060?

Hi, im looking to upgrade my graphics card to an RTX 3060 12 GB but unsure if the power supplier is enough, can you help?

Specs, -
i7 7820X 8 Cores 16 processors
Gigabyte X299 UD4 Pro Motherboard
32GB RAM
Cosair - VS650 Watt
1TB M.2 MvME
Graphics Card - Radeon rx580 8GB.

Will an upgrade to an RTX 3060 12GB require a PSU Upgrade too?

Technically 550W is enough, so based on rating alone, yes.

The VS is "affordable yet capable" according to this Tom's review from 2019:

I would personally be considering a better power supply, but it is also a terrible time to buy with prices the way they are.

Can it run it , Yes. Should you get a better quality power supply in the future, Yes.
