[SOLVED] Is the wireless lan drivers affects the wifi speed on laptop?

But fast on mobile

It is less likely that that the driver is the difference, but the actual hardware. You would have to provide the model of the router, the laptop and phone for anybody to have a guess as to why.

You are using the driver from the laptop vendor, that's as good as it gets. Just for grins, find out exactly what WIFI chipset is using, go directly to the chipset's site and use theirs see if makes any diff.

What speed differential are we talking about? les we spending time worrying about a few pennies.
