I guess I'm going to have to go with the normal edition but the Pro version is only a couple of pounds/dollars more so it would have been nice to get the Pro version. Thanks for your help though.

They both have the same latency and timing, the "Pro" one is just a newer model.

It claims it is more sufficient for overclocking but is that really true and worth it?

Pro is just a name that attempts to draw in buyers.
