For a motherboard I'd get this
http://pcpartpicker.com/part/gigabyte-motherboard-gaz97xsli
I wouldn't get the 4Gb 760 as the extra vram will not be usefull unless you SLI and for what 2 760's cost you can get a GTX 970 which would perform the same but use much less power than dual 760s. For what that 760 costs you can get a faster 280x or for a little more you can get an even faster R9 290(would suggest a slightly larger PSU for the 290 though). You can also gert faster ram(lower cas) for a little cheaper.

I ended up going with this motherboard: ASRock Fatal1ty Z97 Killer LGA 1150 Intel Z97 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

As far as graphics card, that is the only thing I have not yet purchased. To be completely honest I am not sure what to get. I chose the amount of vram only for possible heavy modding in Skyrim which i have been told is necessary. Also apparently NVIDIA graphics cards are preferred for skyrim because of certain features. I am also holding off on getting a graphics card for now because apparently new ones are rumored to be released soon (geforce gtx 960). What would you recommend or maybe if you could help explain how to pick a graphics card. I have been told to go with GDDR5 so thats sort of a given.
