I have tried different web browsers, and the best ones are only two. The first place goes to Opera, and the second place goes to Microsoft Edge. Generally, Firefox is considered the best, and it has the most available plugins, but it doesn't appeal to me. The most popular browser is Google Chrome, but I am interested in search engines. Does the website https://www.google.pl provide the most search results? I found a quote on Google that says, "Haystak. With over 1.5 billion indexed pages, Haystack boasts more indexed sites than any other deep web search engine."
Which internet search engine is the leader in terms of the number of search results?

What are you looking for precisely, a web browser or a search engine? Those are different things.

TLDR: Each of the engines available uses different methods and varying source materials, try the same query in each a few times and choose what works for you. There is no "best" overall.

Different search engines use different algorithms and source materials to quantify results. Some also use your locational information and previous search histories, while others group together previous requests from other users along similar lines.

Furthermore, HOW you search makes a big difference on different engines. The process of correlating your input to what is actually searched for differs slightly among all and the big boys use powerful machine learning and AI to put them all together.

To make your life even more fun, there are ways to use multiple engines and correlate the results, while some engines offer better privacy and others still focus on specific subjects or parts of the internet (like Science or Images only).

So first, you need to learn HOW to word and use search engines. This means constructing your search better, and while most can figure out what you meant...it might not be quite what you intended. A commonly unknown feature is using parenthesis to force a phrase search so if you want to find out about shaved heads but also want it to look in Europe you'd search:

"shaved heads" europe

Finally, most engines have options to pay to have your listed results pushed up the potential list of queries that include you as a result. While this rarely skews the metric, it can be confused to filter and often the better results for YOU will be much, much further down the page.

Google, is the defacto powerhouse and the most probable to bring you the closest useful result to your query.

Having said that, I'd suggest you try the exact same search in a few engines side by side and choose for yourself which seems to respond best to your requirements.
