[SOLVED] is there a cable like this?

dont know if this is a dumb question but, im trying to connect my RGB fans to my MB 12v header, but the cables that come with the fans dont connect to it... is there a kind of cable that has one end as a 12v female, and the other end as one of these ends -( https://ibb.co/bHgXWMb )

What is your board, case and what brand and model are the fans?

Case - Thermaltake V200 TG RGB

Usually those Fans should directly connect onto the mainboard without an extended cable, the cable on the photo looks more like a PWM Fan cable (for power so they go brr) Try looking in the manual, there should be 4 pins somewhere around the bottom left of your mainboard

if you mean the JRGB pins, I have tried plugging it into that, the cable just slides right off of it

The cable you posted plug in a controller.

The fan does have a controller for it, but the only place I can get it to go is inside the case. I want it to connect to the motherboard so I can use a software instead of the controller

idk if its possible to use a software in that case, usually if it has a RGB controller it usually doesnt have a software to connect to.

the fan does say aura sync and mystic light, so I’m just abit confused since the cables it comes with don’t plug into the motherboard properly

The fan come with a lot of stuff. At 3:05 he talks about the 2 cables from the fan. The PWM cable and the RGB cable that plugs in an extension cable that plug in the rgb header on your board. Do you have that cable?
