Question Is there a catch when using discount codes displayed by Edge?

Hi, I noticed that when doing online shopping on Amazon using Edge, sometimes on the top right it states Shopping Save $amount and Edge found some discount codes. Who offered those codes? Are they legit? Is there a catch using the codes? One is like half price shopping at Amazon. Sounds too good to be true.

Seems as legit as anything else Microsoft does, and I'm not saying that means they are all that legit and never pull any shenanigans, but they also put their name on it so it has to be at least moderately legit.

That's it, because the other side of the coin is, we already know that if it sounds too good to be true, it damn well IS going to be too good to be true. Just because Microsoft has incorporated some coupon and discount mining capabilities into their browser doesn't mean that other third parties aren't able to take advantage of that platform. It's no different than the fact that there are straight up scammers selling openly on Amazon, Ebay, Newegg and everywhere else, without compunction.
