My old but lovely Asus T300L I7 transformer has too small hard drive, just 128 gb

I wanted to replace it and got probably bad advice to buy Samsung 970 evo hard drive (though I’ve given the laptop to a service specialist before buying)

The original drive is Sandisk sd6sn1m-128g-1002

And now he said that it can’t be installed.
Now I’m thinking if I should change

The original drive
The SSD that came with your laptop is SATA 6Gbps based. Not NVMe, so yes you were ill advised to get an NVMe drive. You should ideally look for a SATA based 2280 form factor M.2 SSD and the largest capacity of an SSD you can go for is 256GB.

Oh my god ) 256 would be pointless anyway:(

No any tricks to get this big Samsung running?:(
