Is there a codec that compresses more than H265? Are H265 and H265+ the same codec or different? I have a collection of videos shot with a camera in H264 format. Is it worth converting them to H265 format?
Are the original videos on YouTube or Rumble and other sites in H264 format. Is it possible to directly download movies in H265 format from these sites or do they have to be downloaded in H264 and I need to set the automatic conversion to H265 format in the downloader? Why the most popular format is H264 instead of H265 to waste disk space or servers of YouTube, Rumble and others unnecessarily?
On the udud of new TV decoders for receiving TV from the antenna, it says H265, does it mean that the TV also has a broadcast codec?

I don't have a car, I just found such a camera in a dumpster, I'm poor, I couldn't afford a new one. I would like to use the camera to record nature to watch in the winter and a new highway is building where I live,I make films to send them to my cousins who lives abroad because they want to know what is happening in my village out of curiosity.
so it nothing important. why even reencode the video? take some still short

Does the "Roadrunner 505 Prestigio" record interlaced or non-interlaced? Do I need to set the "Deinterlance" option in HandBrake to the default "Decomb" or is it better to change it to "Off"?
Recently, the "HandBrake" program is also available in the "Nightly" version. What is the difference between the "Nightly" version and the regular version?

"Nightly" versions are experimental beta builds.
Do not go there.

Again...you found an ancient crappy dash cam in a dumpster.
Don't obsess over its video format.

Be glad the thing works at all.

Is it possible to convert a video to a lower resolution to take up less disk space without reencoding?
Well, see - technically yes (edit) no on this question also. You can demuxing a video+audio stream to a container format that has less overhead. E.g. from my own experience, I've noticed that mp4 containers tend to be slightly smaller in size compared to open formats such as mkv.

However, the saved amount of space is negligible.

edit
forgot to mention - there is no re-encoding (as you're asking for in particular) of video going on in this process, so I must change from yes to no...

Is there EXIF metadata for videos like for JPG photos that when, for example, in the IrfanView settings you enter the command "$T(%d.%m.%Y. Hour %H:%M)" then in the upper right corner is written date without modifying JPG photos but in the movie it can't be done, only when the data is placed on the movie view. The EXIT metadata also includes where the photos were taken and other data. Why movie formats without EXIF metadata and when EXIT metadata will be created for movies to be saved not in the device but in the movie file?

EXIF data does not automatically include location.

My Fuji X-T1 does not include that, because it has no GPS.

Handbrake cannot change a video from 1920x1080 to a lower resolution of 480p. When I set the change to 480p resolution, the converted movie has the original resolution of 1920x1080.

Kind of semi related taught: I assume most container formats have an exif code that suggest what the output resolution (I mean what resolution that the video player software tries to scale to) and if this happens, a user can inadvertently get to believe that the resolution itself are changed.

But this is just a guess from my side.

In LosslessCut 3.49.0 there is no sound in the editor even though the movie has sound and when the image is played in this LosslessCut 3.49.0 it becomes blurry but only some movies have this editing flaw.
