I want a hardware (not software) solution that allows me to copy and paste strings of text between my computer and my laptop. I do not want it to be recognised in Device Manager.

I have found this solution, but I believe it is recognised by the Device Manager.

Does anyone have any experience or solutions for this problem?

Solution
Because I want to easily use it from win, linux and android
Not gonna happen.

Copy/paste only works within the same OS.
Win, Linux, android.

It copies to the clipboard, and paste from the clipboard.
This does not cross between OS's.

There are a couple of software solutions.

Never used it, so I have no idea of how well it works.
But I imagine it copies your clipboard to its cloud, and then pastes to your other device from that cloud.

What you ask for is impossible because the clipboard in OS is in fact software based.

What is the purpose for what you ask for? Why not accepting a software solution?
Because I want to easily use it from win, linux and android, but you make a good point in that the 'copy/paste' is all in windows and software based.
