Is there a difference between VGA to BNC and BNC to VGA converters?

Am looking to have my camera feed that has a VGA output connected with a BNC that connects to my house TVs, so does a VGA to BNC converter work both ways, as in vga to bnc and bnc to vga or do i need to specifically buy a bnc to vga converter? Apologies if its a silly question.

You need one specifically for the direction you want. Just check the product description and it should say which way it goes.
