Is there a difference in graphic card models

Hi all,

So I wanted to know is there a difference in graphic card overclocks

Now I understand some come with better cooling solutions and light overclocks, but let’s say will there be a FPS difference in Stock clocked MSI cards vs Stock clocked EVGA cards.

If this matters the card is a GTX 1060 6gb

Thank You!

thats the thing. with these OC/SC/SSC versions of cards, you get a factory OC thats designed to work within the thermal parameters of the cooling solution used.

You can pretty much achieve the same OC with a stock card. Providing the cooling is decent.

With all that said, OC cards of the same generation yield little performance improvement. If you are gaming on a 1060 6gb, and lets say 1080p @60hz, will you feel or notice the difference between getting 66fps with one card and 62 with another? Probably not. Except maybe in some benchmarks.

IMO it's better to get the cheapest card you can (a reputable brand will do! Asus, MSI, etc) with a min of a dual fan setup, and save yourself some cash and get and OC it yourself if you must...
