Is there a fix to planetside2 crashing?

I just got my new pc a couple days ago , and was really excited to try out planetside2, First game I installed, and ran amazing at high settings!...For 30 minutes. Seriously every 30 minutes the exact same thing, no fps drop no textures nothing weird, just crashes out of no where! i read it could be caused by by having a 32 bit os, but i'm using the 64 bit version of windows7. i tried validating the files through the launcher but that turned up nothing. I'm also pretty sure its not a hardware issue because my computer stays at a moderate warmth and I've seen it get MUCH hotter! Also i heard that sometimes turning off the gpu physics can fix it but i don't wanna since the physics is one of my favourite things in the game. :/

there are a few things you can do, disable the superfetch service. if you have a nvidia card open the control panel, go to 3d options and make a profile for planetside 2 and change the frames to render ahead to 1.

Cant be my hardware. Plays all my other games at high settings just fine

its planetside itself, it should still be labelled as being in beta considering the state of the game still.

Yeah, that's what i'm starting to think now. I would post this on the soe forums, but i know i'm going to get yelled by sony fanboys. 😛

PS2 worked fine on my rig when i was playing it a while back on full everything no dramas (apart from the shocking server lag and meh game play - not my thing)

So are you here for advice or your going to ignore it?

Ok, sorry back on track. I tried hd tune and turned up nothing, as for those other programs I'll have to download them and see. I'll tell you what my results are.

Did you try what I said, this fixed the problem for a lot of others and I have played since beta without a single crash

Yes i did, and sadly this didn't work 🙁

completely wipe and reinstall the game from scratch and delete any user files for the game from your documents and freshly install it, this can often help.
