Is there a free OS that can play windows games?

I'm on a budget and was wondering if there was an OS that could run windows games?

Only if the particular game you want to play has also been ported to a different platform.

not really. however in the future linux os (such as ubuntu - most popular for gaming) will support more steam games. but atm ur out of luck

you could try your luck with a ubuntu/other linux desktop running WINE but most of the time it doesn't work
